The energy we get from food is affected by the nutrients and how our body processes that food. There are three kinds of macro nutrients, carbohydrates, proteins and fats. And i grew up as a child of the eighties, so fat was definitely something that was demonized in my house. We are now realizing is a lot more important for our diets, and especially for fueling our brains than we used to understand.
