The Priest's Heart Rejoices the Lord's Name

The priest's heart was glad he took the Ephraim and the household gods. What we see there is that what rejoices this priest is not the Lord or faithfulness to the Lord. He's just totally worldly. God is being invoked in an argument to just prop up people's sinful actions. Like his name, you know, it's don't take the Lord's name in vain.
