What Does a Poem Taste Like?

Cavia is believed to be early court poetry. It was recited in front of all the lords and ladies. When you translate a poem like this, how are you imagining the reader ing it? I don't i would be in the school of jack caroa, who basically says, if you just write spontaneously from what's inside of you, it will communicate. And so i feel if i can translate this sarida with heart, which is what the tradition says how you should read, then it will communicate - that's the whole point of the thetic tradition.
