The first recorded abortion in the country was from 1652. "It's a good reminder for pro-lifers that abortion didn't start with Roe v. Wade and it's not going to end with the overturn of Roe," she says. It's something that will always be an issue that pro- lifers will have to fight against through legislation, but also through helping people come to a new conviction.
