This song broke my heart and wrapped it in cotton wool all at the same time. The inspiration for this piece actually that Tarkashi said is actually, he saw an image of birds all gathered around a dead comrade. And even though that was his inspiration, I'm kind of fine with, well, this is not what I get from that piece. He's a real big advocate of modern music that sounds like music that isn't atonal and isn't hard to understand. It feels like acceptance that the summers draw into a close and that we're about to move into a new season.
