Theology of Institutions - The Last Round
Next generation of Christians don't think in institutional terms, he says. We have not trained them or equipped them how to think theologically about institutions. They think because they have absorbed the dominant cultural ethos that thinks instrumentally about institutions. If it doesn't give me what I want, then it's bad. That's how we treat a tool, right? And so now, Christians are following the culture and adopting this very instrumental short-term and ultimately unforgiving attitude towards our institutions.
