The Business Model of 24 Hour Cable News
I don't want to be in a position where advertisers feel they can't advertise my show because they detect any kind of partisan political bias. The main part of the pie for me is the daily show, and the main revenue stream for that will be from advertising. I think your own business model will have to be reviewed as we go forward. But i do think that this notion that i should somehow be ashamed of wanting to be successful with ratings or circulation, which some people put out there, i always find that laughable.
