The Importance of Service Catalogs in Internal Developer Platforms

Some people talk about IDPs as internal developer platforms. And some folks talk about it as internal developer portals. It's an interesting distinction, right? Because backstage is at a fantastic marketing job and like, love what they're doing there. But in my mind, actually the presentation in Valencia last year, where I talked about really that's your UI, CLI, SDK, API on top of your platform. So anyway, so we're talking about building these portals, which upon which are the entry point to your platform.
