Melonon Is Amazing, Because It's Beautiful
The idea that there is a whole immense and tragic history of colonialism and slavery that on some leve all orbits around the spectral properties of this molecule. Ye, honestly, i think the challenge of writing that essay was, my initial desire with the first version of it, was i wanted to tell fellow black people that melonon is amazing. And then when i came back to revise it for the book, im it was 20 19, and then 20 20. It was all a lot to do, and i think it probably deserves more than a chapter.
