The Parallels Between Socialism and Marxism
I want to push you on one thing here. I'm a left liberal, I suppose. You say you're a socialist liberal. Do you think that there is this parallel between the rejection today by the quote unquote woke of this aspiration to living up to us principles and the way in which a lot of the Marxist tradition talked about it? In some of his writings especially the early writings it looks like he's saying something closer to what you and I believe.
