How to Test Your Hand and Wrist for Strength

If you're looking for function at the hand and wrist I probably would suggest using a hand grip dynamometer. The best thing is usually do your full prone position if you're doing it for your extensors with the elbow at about 70 degrees. In order to do strength at a hand grip it's not just the flexors that are working we're also the extensors in order to maintain the position of the wrist which functionally has to be about 20 roughly degrees in extension otherwise you can't hold a hand grip.
