Bitcoin Mining and the Texas Grid Failure
There was a lot of people saying like, now the Bitcoin mining is here in 2022 with these demand response programs, like you're not going to have the blackouts that Texas had in 2021. And that just rubs me the wrong way because it's a bit disingenuous. Even if the demand response programs were as robust as they are today in 2022, wouldn't have stopped the grid from blacking out in Texas. There was a number of unfortunate quinces throughout the Texas grid. Those things all need to be weatherized and Bitcoin mining is not going to do that.
