The more diverse a group of people, the better decisions you will get. I think if i was running a firm, not just to journalism this thing, but any firm, out of pure self interest, the policy i'd put in place is that every time there are multiple equal candidates for a job, multiple equal candidates, i'll pick the one who increases the diversity - it's an empirical study. We also have to start thinking about how we structure news organizations, or what is the business model, or how sortof incorporate a company,. There has to be some kind of legislative intervention as soon as possible, or asnt when it is possible, where cross holding should be banned
