Isofloring in a Sea-Vofloring Vaporizer?
If you accidentally fill a sea-vofloring vaporizer with isofloring, it will deliver an overdose of inhaled anesthetic. More anesthetic gas will be part of that mixture if more of the initial gas flow is directed over the pool of anesthetic. There is a mnemonic that people use to remember the vapor pressures of some of the inhaled anesthetics and that is high C.
