A South African Paralympic Hero, Oscar Pestorius

Oscar postorius was born with fibula hemelila in both his legs. When he was 11 months old, his legs were amputated half way between his knees and his ankles. He went on to become an olympian sprint runner nicknamed the blade runner because of the pros tixs he wore. After becoming a four time paralympic champion, at the 20 11 world championships in athletics, pistorius became the first amputy to win a non disabled world track medal.
