How to Measure the Spin of a Thing

When you observe the spin of something, you're either going to get spin up or spin down. Once you measure that thing, it is now in the state of either up or down. And a, one thing i guess i should maybe explain this in another episode. Spin directions are orthognal to each other, which means that if you measure the spin to be in one direction, then you have no idea which way it's going to collapse into in the other spin directions. But when you measure it, remember, zero is not an option. The same thing goes with polarization. Listen to our first episode on quanto mechanics and we'll see you soon!
