The Mortgage Industry in the US Is in a Downward Spiral
The mortgage industry in the U.S. has been hit hard by deferrals of payments and interest, says John Defterios. He says it's not that different from what he saw in 2007 and early 2008 when you started seeing a little bit of a ripple here and there of trouble before it started into a cascade. But even if the government somehow or another was able to vacuum everything up, I mean, there's going to be a price, a cost for all this," defterios says.
