The History of the Southasian Community in the Sixties
In 19 forty seven, a politician in victoria named percival edward george passed a resolution to allow southasians the right to vote. It would not be until 19 sixties that first nation's people could vote without losing their status. In 19 62, the innuit would be sent ballot boxes. They actually got the vote in 19 50, but it took until 19 62 for the government to send boxes so their votes could actually be counted. That's some piece of a in many indigenous communities still.
