The Life of Faith in the Middle of a Difficult Marriage

The way to happiness in the Bible is always holiness. Jesus didn't stay with us because we made him happy. We made him miserable. And it was that love that ultimately not only changed our hearts, but showed his greatest glory. Remaining faithful to a wife you wish you had not married might seem miserable to you. But taking up a cross and following Jesus is miserable in the short run at least. Sometimes the happiness that you're embracing in the midst of a difficult marriage is the happiness that is there in the future.
