The Conspiracy of QAnon
The Italian, Czech and Slovak telegram channels researched by Kherichi and Jabka blend the feel-good spiritual commerce of guided meditations with anti-GMO propaganda. Alatra also prophesies a coming volcanic apocalypse but not to worry they have a plan for how to restructure the world. So this very lent blend of conspiracies and ethno-nationalism and back to the earth religious appeals to a glorious past that will one day be restored is sadly not unique to American politics. The perception is that spirituality and conspiracies are used by different movements and far right groups to attract ordinary people who would never otherwise define themselves as far right believers or extremists.
