Aurelius's Meditations

The most touching thing to me about the meditations his his famous book is its Greek title which is top ace hat top ace hat on. And it's extraordinarily rare I mean Winston Churchill might be somebody that we could compare Aurelius to in this way. The polymathic tendencies of the book and of course this was an era Aristotle as you say another great example. This was an era when at least it seemed more possible to have a kind of ranging grasp of all knowledge.
