The Devastation of Muhammad Ali Jinnah's Marriage
Muhammad Ali Jinnah's relationship with his wife, Ruddy, had started to go bad. She died from an overdose of sleeping pills six months after this letter was written. Devastated by the loss of his wife and with his political career in shambles, Muhammad Ali Jinnah decided to leave India and relocate to London in 1931. In the next episode, we are going to see what happens to the all India Muslim League when their leader is not even in India. And as the Indian National Congress expands their political power in India, the Muslim League will struggle just to stay relevant.
