The New World of Qualified Immunity
A federal appeals court has ruled that the TSA needs qualified immunity. This means they can't be sued for something they do wrong in the pursuit of doing their job. The decision leaves flyers with, quote, very limited legal redress for alleged mistreatment or aggressive behavior by screeners.
