The Story of Lenny Bruce
Lenny Bruce suffered an acute attack of Pluracy, a condition that causes painful swelling of the chest cavity. Surgeons operated on Bruce for 5 hours and in the end they removed a rib and drained his chest to fluid. The New York trial was postponed and won't resume until Bruce recovers. Not long after Bruce's operation, he succeeded in getting the LA obscenity charges dismissed.
