Mortgage Back Securities - Is That a Big Game?
Mortgage back securities are a multiple trillion part of the feds balance shet which is being wound here with treasuries and the rolling them off. They said tht te're going to reinvest mortgage back securities the amount of principles from the federal reserve holdings if they exceed 17 and half billion. If i'm reading that correctly, it's telling you that they will adjust on the fly. That should be very bullish for the market. I think obviously crude oil, just in what last two weeks, it's down 20 % or so. It got absolatute creamed on t Tuesday, down ten%.
