The Politics of Standardization in the Real World
The reason that the United States has a different written standard from the other British settler colonies is like Americans develop their own identity. Another thing would be like in China and Taiwan, the simplified versus traditional characters. In Bemmy dialect, their standardization was more based on etymology because of valuing history and philology and stuff. Whereas the the kova dialect, this is the capital,. I guess they seemed to sort of value efficiency, which led to them doing sort of arbitrary homophone disenambiguation but not really caring about the history of it.
