The Death of Meek Van Tasejo

Joe Meek was an independent music producer in the 1960s. His career took a turn for the worse when he learned of Bernard Oliver's murder. The 16-year-old gay teenager had been killed by police, and Meek knew him well. He also believed that his films were being spied on at the time. On February 3rd 1967Meek shot himself after becoming convinced people were stealing his ideas from his mind. A book based on the first 50 episodes of the podcast is now available.
