What Is the Nature of the Revolution in Measurement?
On the 20th of May, which is World Matrology Day in 2019, we have experienced the greatest revolution in measurement since the French Revolution. The metric system came into being with the French Revolution around the end of the 18th century. Every one of these seven base units is now defined by fixing the values of constants of nature. So like joules is going to be kilogram meters squared per second squared and that's another SI unit.
