Is There Any Data Visualization That You Want to Flag or Highlight?
I like them but I think they tend to be a little bit overplayed. What I really like is when people try to produce something that is actually usable and updatable at the same time. A very good example of this is the economist dashboard on excess mortality during the pandemic. It does have interesting use of graphics there's like some heat maps in there some small multiples so it's also not exactly like the craziest visualization in the world.
