A lot of times we're bad at playing those roles, right? Because you've got an autistic brain trying to be a neurotypical brain. In the end, you try your best to do that to fit in, and you don't anyway, it fails. So either way, it's a lose, lose. Let's talk about small talk. Autism feels like neurotypical small talk is a foreign language. You can never learn this language, by the way. It's one of those foreign languages that's really hard.
