The Third Estate - A Revolutionary Break
On june third, the more conferontational arguments from the breton club began to carry the day. After waiting two days no response, the third estate delegates proceeded to call the roll as this other self proclaimed comprehensive assembly. The decision to go it alone on their own authority was a revolutionary break with all political precedent. When three parish priests crossed over the lines, they were greeted by wild sustained applause.
