The Two Sides of Prayer
In the early 50s, Lewis writes an essay on prayer. It's right around the time that Joy gets diagnosed with cancer and then he prays and then she's healed. I think prayer is just on his mind here at the end of his life. He wants to talk about God not as a he did this and he did that as in pain, but it's God you. What is my dialogue with you? The personal God, what happens when I pray?
