Is There a Systematic Approach to Private Equity?
Most quantitative approaches are not Warren Buffett. My preferred holding period is forever. I can't imagine how you'd use a systematic approach to do venture capital. It's pretty hard for me to imagine the systematic process. We've dabbled in the private equity side because there are at least real companies that have been around.
