Public education campaigns have led to more people saying that, hey, I'm not going to buy ivory. Poachers still want to kill elephants so they can sell the ivory abroad. Iris thinks the campaigns to stop people buying ivory have to continue. To make ivory not fashionable, ivory not cool is the fundamental solution to save elephants.
