Swedish back packer hawk and borcol went missing in late june. Edward Hawkin was staying at a small back packer's stelin thames, called the sun kissed lodge. A guest overheard them discussing how to go about finding their way around coromandel peninsula. He took them on a day trip to insula if they agreed to pay for petrel as well as his accommodation overnight at the lodge. The next day he led them out to his white subero station wagon with custom bullbars. It is believed that oban and hide had met with foul play.
