Jealousy is a common motive in most murders, according to research. The evolutionary psychology view on all of this and especially violence has always made a great deal of sense to me. But also that's why I have to be careful because something can make a lot of sense and then wind up not actually being the actual driver. And, you know, there is a logic to violence most of the time.
