The Irony of Julian Assange's Extradition

Julian Assange could be extradited to the United States as early as next month. Julian Assange is being tried for wrongfully locating and disclosing information, which is exactly what the CIA is doing in its case against him. It sends a signal to any investigative reporter, if I have information which I got illegally, am I not to report it? Think how many times in New York Times, Fox News CNN gets information; think about Donald Trump. The press has an obligation to tell the world that there's no conflict between government and press. For the government to just put a kabosh on what the press can report would be chilling.
