The dragon does really well. It starts off with the friendship between the two girls to show what gets destroyed. These people, you see them being pretty decent, happy and relatively normal. But they have these human qualities that apparently you have to murder those within yourself before you can go murder other people. Once it's dead, you're not getting it back either.
