Liquid Bitcoin - What's the Difference?
Liquid is a layer two solution for Bitcoin, kind of like lightning. Originally when Liquid was launched as a side chain, the focus was on speeding up payments and arbitrage between exchanges. But that then got superseded more recently with an emphasis on assets and financial markets. Anybody who runs a Liquid node can issue their own asset and transfer them around.
