The Power of Darkness in the Gospels
Tom Wright is the author of a new book about Jesus' death on the cross. He says it's important for Christians to read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John in their entirety. The gospels are telling how God came to do what he had always promised to do - kill evil by means of crucifixion. And that can only happen if evil and death have been deltwith (destroyed), writes Wright. "The Kingdom of God goes out and changes lives and communities"
