Richard Reddy is an Anglican and currently the director of justice and inclusion for the churches together in Britain. He says the church is still struggling to come to terms with its historic role in slavery. Some argue that this should be a Christian model of atonement used by the church. Others feel reparation should not only be financial, but involve systemic change in the church itself.
