Is There Something About the Obsession?

The aesthetic is constantly pushing for the production of knowledge versus the obsession who perhaps wants to be seen as the source of knowledge. Lacan later links it to the sort of the movement of science right it's constantly coming to know and wanting to produce some sort of knowledge. The workaholic appears as if he's just following some master who is constantly demanding from him to work more and more but actually it is the rational himself who is master you know who is imposing constantly let's say new tasks so that  he doesn't come close to something that is too much for him.
