A Blackfoot tribe couldn't get the buffalo to go over a cliff. So it looked as though they weren't going to have any meat for that winter. A magpie told them about a girl who had run away with a buffalo. The shaman of the herd came and said alright girly, off we go. We've kept our side of the bargain.
