Rust's Leadership Chat: A Serious Issue

From the outside looking in, it appears to me like there are a lot of people who could lay a claim to having official, you know, vested power from the rust project. And that is a serious issue. I believe very strongly that projects need to limit the growth of of who is in positions of power until they have a well established mechanism by which to do that. Good coders are not good managers necessarily. We're good at managing machines, not necessarily good at managing people.
