The History of the Church of Holy Sepulchre

The Church of Holy Sepulchre has been destroyed and renovated so many times. But this eastern facade is still nicely preserved. And there's just something really exciting to that, to imagine yourself going back to that timeframe. The Crusades were definitely, if you read the Crusader sources, they was driving them because they did not have access to the tomb. They wanted to reclaim the holy sites and specifically the Church of the HolySepulchre.
