The Power of Short Cuts

These are short cuts which get you to your goal, but get you there without having to do a lot of laborious, boring, hard work. A talk in the book about aristotle's idea of two sorts of different work,. practice, work that you love doing for its own sake, so you don't want a short cut for that. And poesis, which is work to attain a goal and in general, that's the one you want to get to quickly.
