What Are the Long Lived Cells of Your Skin Different?
Tissues sense inflammation and respond to it. Cells outside the mean system remember in the same way as cells inside them. Even after a small bout of inflammation, these cells were so much better at healing. They had learnt from this inflammatory assault that when you came with a secondary wound, they were able o repair it much, much faster.
