The Stress of Being an Assistant Manager
Francis was hired as our assistant manager. At a time when that meant the on shift would be Sam and I and Francis. And so the title of assistant manager, it really was assistant to the manager. She put up with it and obviously as time went by and we stepped back, she did become the manager. But in those opening six months, definitely that was a title in orbit.
