The Importance of National Character in a Nation State

I think we do hark back too much. I love the idea that we won the war as if I know nobody else had anything to do with it. It was all us. The nation state part of what holds a nation state together is its sense of identity. And this is expressed in things like language and accent as well. They speak the same way as if to say, this is who I am. This is who we are. I'm part I'm one of you.
