The Impact of a Low Fob Map Diet on the Colonic Microbiota
The low fob map diet was the most effective diet of all the diets studied for improving gastrointestinal symptoms. A review paper by Tarek Masawi, who was on the podcast in 2018, found an improvement in the density of serotonin cells in the lining of their gut. For some, eating more fiber and prebiotics makes them worse. And so this leaves us back to kind of an action plan. What do you do? Well, first, improve diet quality, reduce sugar and process foods, eat more plants and less grain, consume fermented foods.
